My husband and I both do Pilates & Kettle Bells with Kate. I always hated going to a gym—and rarely exercised because of that. But I never dread going to Kate’s studio to exercise—I enjoy going! Before we met Kate, my husband would never step foot into a gym. But there’s something special about Kate as never in a million years would I have thought my husband would go anywhere with me to exercise. He does just fine with Kate! I used to have aches & pains, but after doing Pilates with Kate I no longer have those. I’m so glad my friend referred us to her. If you get the chance to work with Kate...do it!
I have had chronic lower back and hip pain for about the past 2 years. In a few myofascial release therapy appointments with Kate my hips and lower back pain has released significantly. I am a tennis player and it’s been a pleasure playing and coming off the court relatively pain free. We are continuing to work on these areas but being pain free changes my whole being.
As a fitness professional myself, I’m always looking for new and inspiring workouts for me to try. Kate’s sessions give me such a great workout that I always take the opportunity to schedule sessions with her when I’m visiting Atlanta. Her workouts are fun, challenging, balanced, and innovative. Kate is constantly educating herself and always has something new for me to try when I come to train with her. I always leave her sessions having done an exercise that I haven’t done before. What I respect most about Kate is her dedication to challenging her clients to reach their maximum potential by safely encouraging them to push extremely hard in each session, while paying diligent attention to executing correct form. Kate is awesome; a well-rounded and consummate professional!
I started going to Kate’s classes at the gym, which are awesome, and then had the opportunity to train with her in a small group. I train with Kate for kettlebell and Pilates which are perfect compliments for working large and small muscles. Kate takes time to make sure you achieve your personal goals and improve your entire well-being. Workouts are intense and effective but still safe and fun! I highly recommend training with Kate to anyone!
I take Kate’s spin class almost every week on Thursday and I just wanted to share how much I appreciate her and what a great instructor she is. Not only does she give a very well thought out workout with purpose, but she also has the gift of being so encouraging. Her encouragement and guidance take me to levels in her class that a lot of times I’m not sure I can go. Most times in her class I’ve already done two hours in the gym that day and I doubt myself as to how much more I can do, but she has a way of getting me to push myself even further. There is a big difference between being an instructor and being a good one, and she’s got it! Each week in class I leave with such a great feeling of accomplishment.
Kate personifies the concept of total body fitness: mind, body and spirit. On her own initiative, she has attained the highest standards of certification in all areas of physical training and nutrition. A physical dynamo, she provides her clients the finest example of the values she teaches and practices. She inspires me to challenge my own body, mind and spirit to change and through her positive, patient, and persistent motivation, it’s happening! I look forward to her training sessions, have evil thoughts during the session, and feel super, though exhausted, afterward. She is extremely understanding and flexible in all respects, but relentless in the pursuit of her goals for herself and her clients. In short, Kate has encouraged me to be an overall better me.
I started cycling class with Kate after straining my Achilles’ tendon, while training for and completing an Olympic Triathlon. After attending a different cycling class for about 4 years, I found Kate to be the most positive, challenging, and inspiring instructor. Attending her class weekly over the next 2 years, I made more progress in strength and cardiovascular endurance, than in 4 years in the other class. She taught me to ride in class, like on the road. She helped me push myself like never before, and to feel and BE POWERFUL!! Largely because of her influence, I recently got certified to teach Spinning myself. Kate should teach other instructors to inspire and challenge as she does.

Kate is top shelf. Her knowledge base and currency are of the highest order. She has that unique talent to translate what she knows into actionable changes in her clients that enables them to achieve optimal performance.
Kate is an incredible fitness coach. She has so much passion for Kettlebell and fitness that it becomes addictive for her clients also. Kate leads by example. Seeing her work as hard as she does for her clients will motivate you both in your workouts and in life. As a former athlete I thought I knew everything I needed to know regarding my workouts. Since working with Kate, she has helped me achieve a higher level of fitness then I could have taken myself. She will teach you the fundamentals and proper techniques to KB. Once you have developed the fundamentals be ready because she will challenge you beyond your goals! Overall, she is an excellent coach and person.
When I started with Kate, I had been a World Gym member for over 7 years. I was craving some changes in my fitness life. My sessions with Kate focus on bringing my fitness ability to the next level, a place I was hesitant about. It was a challenge for me to try something different as I am a creature of habit. But I believe in Kate and trust her. She challenges me at every session. Kate believes in me and my ability. She trains with care and compassion, and she does everything she can to help you reach your goal. She is the perfect combination of tough and warm and she works with the whole person, mentally, physically and emotionally. Kate has the same compassion and energy for everyone she meets. Because of Kate, I am stronger and more flexible and most importantly, I'm achieving new goals. Your clients, family and friends are lucky to have you in their lives.
Kate is a phenomenal trainer. Her class at World Gym is the best class offered. She is energetic, experienced and motivational. She offers encouragement throughout the class as well as education. On almost every set of exercises she offers many different alternatives for different fitness levels. I always come away feeling completely drained but also very energized. Kate’s class is a gift to me every week. I highly recommend her!
Kate is amazing. She has helped me and my knee gain full range of motion after my surgery and rehab. I’ve built strength in my biceps and triceps as well, which is a definite plus in my book!
Kate is an amazing trainer; her classes are well planned and choreographed. Kate makes working out fun. Knowledgeable, energetic, passionate are a few words to describe Kate.
Kate is the first person that really got my head in the right place to achieve all my goals. I am more motivated to change my body than ever before. I highly recommend!
